Your Not A True Weeb! & Neither Am I!

I’m a terrible weeb, SO are you, and this is why!

Does this sound familiar to you:

Person: I see you are a sao fan, what do you think of Reki Kawahara?

Me: *Blank look on face*

Person: OK...So I see you like Bleach what do you think of Tite Kubo?

Me: What anime is that character in?

Person: * Looks of disappointment*

Ok so you have not long finished hells paradise what did you think of the artwork of Yuji Kaku?

Me: I take it that’s the manga artist? As I don’t recognise that character

Person: Bloody hell…ok so whos your favourite character from it then?

Me: From What?

Person: FROM HELLS PARADISE!!

Me: Ah...OK that would be...

Person: And don’t just say Gabimaru “The Hollow.”

Me: Why not?

Person: Why? because that’s too obvious being essentially the main character, its like saying Kirito in SAO, or Rimiru in that Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, or Deku in My Hero Academia.

....

.... Surely you know more characters right?

Me: Of course I do (ponders and thinks racks brain)…that female samurai…not the ninja one the samurai executioner person…

Person: You mean Sagiri?

Me: That’s the one! I know I would remember!

Person: *Visible Frustration*

See that is why I am a terrible weeb, and I am guessing you, yes you there are the same put on the spot you can barely remember what an anime or manga is about let alone try and hold a conversation about it, without just nodding your head and going, yeah, yeah was good that bit, mmhmm yup I agree.

Then the person says bye you go on to something else and immediately you go..yuzuriha, mei, jikka, shion…etc as if the information had just been buffering through the entire conversation!

I am also a terrible weeb in that I don’t know, authors names, artists names, voice actors names, names of the songs or bands….basically I suck is what I am saying.

But one thing I can say for sure is that I do love collecting anime figures and merch, reading manga and watching anime, even if I cannot remember anything 2seconds later…or at least I think I do…anyways what was I saying…ah yes…
